Whisper A Prayer Poem by LeeAnn Azzopardi

Whisper A Prayer

Rating: 4.7

Yr red sweater is folded mostly
Next to yr picture
Sometimes, I think to put in a box
And give it away
But it was yr favorite
On top of it, there is yr collar
As yr ashes is in an urn with yr name
How I miss you
The sensation of gracing yr fur
With my tears
When you were next to me
Now, there's no one to do that
As I whisper a prayer for you
To deliever from the pain

Even a person in a urn can bite at one's heart and bring remembrance of the dog tag!

Your love for your dog is eternal. Very, very touching. It resonates with me.
