Why Are You Giving Up Poetry; it's Yr Trade (Fr. Carmel Azzopardi)

Rating: 5.0

Those gentle, encourging words are
Playing in my head
But they are fading each day
I am still dumbfounded that
You were wise to say that
Because you knew I love poetry
And was good at it
Now, I realised you push in all my pursuits
However, poetry was calling
I wished I didn't felt awkward when I heard them

Encouragement of a father can mean the world. It's great when poetry becomes a part of our life. It must go on and on.

Nice call from a daughter. No way one can leave poetry just like that, they may leave this PH site but will remain poet by writing good poems.
