‘Live in the present, live in the present, 'say the wise men
Forget the past as it is gone and can not be undone
Future is uncertain and we have no control over it
But how can we forget the past as present is built on its edifice
How can we not think of the future
as we know our present action moulds our future
It is not easy to forget the past
Life's experiences teach us many lessons
Even if we try to forget our hurts and bruises
Try so much to shove them in a corner and not to see them further
They do not go away completely.
The so called forgotten things
Whisper in our ear sometimes
We also recall the silent words of inspiration
Who gave us strength in our trial and tribulation.
Nothing is forgotten, nothing is forgotten
Wounds may heal, scars remain
Though everything seems to go as usual
Whispers of the forgotten lie hidden
in the hollow of the heart.

The things that happen to us never really leave us completely in life. A very true idea well expressed in this piece. Thank you for sharing!
