Who Do You Love? Poem by Eric Cockrell

Who Do You Love?

i dont need you
to fulfill me...
i need you to accept
my fulfillment.
i dont want to own you,
or to be owned.
i dont want to change you,
i take you for who you are,
and expect the same.
i love you
because you are you...
who do you love?

My thoughts exactly, I shun that prince and princess garbage some people romantacise. Nobodies perfect, and if you can love a persons bright side you should love them on the dark side with faults (all of us have a wart) . To love someone through the cracks of things, and work through them is a beautiful thing. Anyways good work.

Someone who doesn't love me back. It's getting time to accept that.
