Who I Am Poem by Theresa Ann Moore

Who I Am

Rating: 5.0

The past has formed
what I have become
Each twist and turn...
each molecule

From days of naivety
to days filled with enlightenment
Every moment is contained…
no matter how minuscule

Standing tall to see another
glorious rising of the sun
Resilient to the wind and storms
Strengthen by overcoming ridicule

Focusing on all that has happened
Choosing to remember love and mirth
Giving thanks for my blessings
Knowing that I am right on schedule

Yes, this is who I am meant to be...
For those who had different plans,
surmising that things should be different…
You have simply been overruled
