Those memories revisit my mind.
Over and over again.
Why does the past,
keep me in its hold?
It can never be relived.
But in my mind i go back to those days,
so often,
When i was nothing but a kid.
Walks through the woods on a summer's day,
Sunday school moments,
when i'd clasp hands to pray.
School days remembered,
The songs in the hall.
Grazed knees from running so fast,
that i'd fall.
But the arms of my loved ones,
Would reach out with love.
With soft soothing words,
That were always enough.
Days filled with comfort,
Pure moments of gold.
Gone in a whisper,
Why must we grow old.

End left me speechless and I quote 'Days filled with comfort, Pure moments of gold. Gone in a whisper, Why must we grow old.'
