Wild Days Poem by Anil Kumar Panda

Wild Days

The trees shiver in rain
Standing in groups and
Whispering to each other
About the cold and the pain

The flowers do not play
Bees flit around them
Feeling sad and hungry
It is going to be a black day

The clouds look black
Swollen with rain they
Tarry over the lands to
Leak and waiting for a crack

The valleys are green
Wild flowers bloom
Aplenty by the stream
Where water is cool and clean
