Willed Invisibility Poem by gershon hepner

Willed Invisibility

Willed invisibility
distinguishes Jehovah
from gods whose credibility
depends on their makeover.

When the Bible says the Lord
His image mankind gave,
it doesn’t mean He drives a Ford
or uses after-shave.

When it further adds that man
was made to look like God,
it means when God’s clay hit the fan
man superseded sod.

Here, instead, is what the story
primitively teaches:
man resembles God with glory
that he rarely reaches.

Witty and meaningful (atheist though that I am) . Love, Gina.
