from 'While Passing Through'/Spring
Wind which rattles trees
and shudders windows…
what sound its own?
Both light and sound are mere waves, it's a touch of love that makes one feeling it. Great and scientific poem.
thanks. akhtar. i'm fascinated that in both hebrew and greek, the main languages of the bible, the same word is used for wind and spirit. the wind itself is invisible, like the divine, but we see its effects. -glen

Absolutely wonderful. I love this kind of poems. Top score.
Thank you, Dillip. As I wrote to Akhtar below, this little poem has as subtext the word, the same one, for both wind and spirit in the respective languages of Hebrew and Greek. It reminds me that while God, like the wind, is invisible, God's actions in the world are there to see. -Glen
