Winter Of Frozen Dreams Poem by Fiona Davidson

Winter Of Frozen Dreams

Icy fingers reach to touch
Droplets on petals formed
From memories and hopes
Freezing as they move on

In this winter of frozen dreams
Life hangs suspended mid-air
Twisting around in spirals
Of never ending doubts

Emotions held tightly inside
We try to melt the frosts
Left upon our surfaces
With the pleasure once felt

If we step forward through the drifts
Do we lose the summers days

Warmth seeps back...with long tingley arms to surround you, gradually melting as it arrives..those frozen moments... Sue x
