A distant pallor
So constrained
So withdrawn
Like a love
Facing a pyramid
Of obstacles
Like a dream
Up against the flood
Of reality
The winter sun with no fire
Peeps through the mist
Of my future.
Loved the way you made me have a hard look at life, using the metaphor of winter sun. Yes! Life offers so much, but is so withdrawn. The mist obscuring the future moves away in no time. Everything changes with time. Great poem. Top score and Myfavourites
Loved the way you have expressed the act of winter sun peeping through the mist of your future.

Part 2. A truly ‘Nosheenic' poem. The use of powerful and marvellous metaphors is, of course, her forte. The rhyme and rhythm her poems are endowed with are excellent. All there underscores the facts that not only she is a most talented poet, but that she takes writing poems quite seriously.
