With The Wind Poem by Rob Knetsch

With The Wind

Rating: 5.0

i huff and i puff
against the wind
step by step
leaning forward

pushing against
this invisible wall
its brutal force
takes my breath away

my energy is drained
by this massive ordeal
this ruthless battle
takes all i got

i am giving up
i am caving in
i am letting go
yes i surrender

i accept its domination fully
and allow it to embrace me
to lift me up and guide me
as i take off and fly away
