With weak wink
Friday,19th April 2019
Even with the weak wink,
you refuse to sink
and put ink
with resolution and think
it is thought
that never make you to be caught
and make you feel right
with the spirit
it is interpretation
with a relation
that healthy mind builds
and yields an inch
with a weak wink when one is afraid
where eyes may feel blurred
yet hands may move with powerful ink
and not allow eyes to blink
it is powerful resolve
that solves
all questions
whether mentioned or not mentioned
Hasmukh Mehta

Hasmukh Mehta readers are an asset, I took both the ways. if she mistakenly put as a wink, I got the hint. when you correctly pointed out, I put the wink in that context.readers. we accept whatever their interpretation is. have my appreciation in true term. welcome thiagrajan. we have lot more to travel. 1 Edit or delete this Like · Reply · 7h · Edited
Thiagarajan Sethuraman Thiagarajan Sethuraman Hasmukh Mehta I am naturally inclined to make some critical remarks just for its own sake.Especially when it comes to literary writings like poetry, essays, etc I am more critical! So you can wink at me for this but you can continue to take wings to reach greater heights in your literary endeavours 1 Hide or report this Like · Reply · 1h

I would like to translate this poem
Thiagarajan Sethuraman Thiagarajan Sethuraman Hasmukh Mehta wink means what? I thought in the context of your poem about birds, you are referring to their wings which enable them to fly.Wink refers to ophthalmological action, I presume! May be what great poets feel is different from what poor readers like me feel! 1 Hide or report this Like · Reply · 7h · Edited
