Within These Moments Poem by Laquory Jones

When moments begins to slip by I
Get lost in the passages of time
Hoping that one day I could rewind
And undo every regret that had
Passed me by some of them haunts
Me to the core the tiny bits eats at
Me more suddenly I look up at the
Sky spreading my wings then began
To fly people started asking me why
I even try when we are all destined
To die I get lost in your eyes as
Sparks continues to fly from you

By my side it's do or die now that I have
You in my sights I can't see an ending
To this happiness that we seemed to
Have found but deep down I know
We're heaven bound becoming the
Talk of the town I am constantly
Astounded no doubt you keep me
Grounded by the caring that you give
I never had this much as a kid
You have become my willingness
To live perhaps I'm crushing too much

When emotions surges all at once
Or maybe It's not enough
The soul remains to be untouched
Do you not get a rush or
Is it all just lust waiting to
Combust thinking it's all true love
Perhaps we never learned to trust
Only doing what we must
I'm Just trying to make you see
Just hoping that you believe
That you can achieve in
Everything that you want

You are bound to succeed it was destiny
That brought you to me no doubt
You have become my remedy
Who would have thought or conceive
The idea that you would be my
Confidant and I would be yours
You became so much more
My remedy for sure
The perfect lovers we don't
Need another now that we
Have found each other
Through Testaments we stand
Hand in hand you are my lady
I'm your man until the end
Of time you will always be mine.
