Within These Walls Poem by Jayne Louise Davies

Within These Walls

Rating: 5.0

I dreamt that i once lived again
inside the house we shared.
Everything was like before,
I climbed those wooden stairs.
Right to the top,
But there was something missing that's for sure,
The sounds of pure laughter,
I miss those days before.
If only i could bring them back,
To see your face again,
If only i could turn back time,
Why did you have to go.
I look out of your window,
To see the mountain high,
I hear your voice a calling,
Those years have moved on by,
Within these walls,
There is much love,
A love that's in my heart,
It will last forever,
Never to depart.
