Witness Poem by Eila Mahima Jaipaul

Witness

Rating: 5.0

can you count
the times
you've put on your left shoe
or touched fingers
to forehead
brushing wayward strands

it isn't really
how you sip coffee
or rest your hand
on the shifter
its not even breath
taken milliseconds
before a kiss
that makes you tumbled
from heaven
