Ringing in my ears
humming against my skin
so much to say
where do I begin?
Do I dare say
Seeing you is like looking in a mirror?
Like passing reflective windows
or glancing into a river
We are so much a like...
you have no idea
its not smudged or slandered
the reflection is clear
your the spitting image of me
or I of you
its so obvious and yet
you'll never get the clue
because i'll never admit
that you and I are alike
it will never register completely in my mind
it will never seem right.
I just wish you knew
you could tell me all you wanted
tell me all your sadness
the thoughts that leave you haunted
i crave this level of communication
to me it would be great
so what ever it is your feeling let it out
because i swear to you...i can relate.
