World Water Sails Life Poem by Kumarmani Mahakul

World water sails life,
As it flows in river and smiles in well,
Waste you not, oh dear traveller,
Every drop is important
To quench your thirst,
Sweet water you need more,
World water is nectar of ours.

If river will not flow
And we shall not sail the boats,
How can we have our journey?
In this Earth's surface or
In cosmic abode as we desire,
Water is holy, water is life,
Every creature seeks it more.

How can we sing and dance?
If stream will not sing
And if waterfall will not dance!
How can we swing in tender wind?
If lake will not swing and mumble!
How can we catch the gem?
If little flower will not bloom in forest
And it will not greet us with dew drops!
We have to inhale the fragrance,
Water carries breath in its flow!

You should not waste each drop,
Rain ripples and moon accepts,
Water becomes soil
And trees grow drinking nectar,
Every beam is outlined in flow,
Like river flows to unite with ocean,
Drinking holy water,
We sail our colorful lives
To unite with God, the greatest ocean,
Water is truth and water is peace,
A thirsty creature understands it better!
