Worthless And Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Worthless And

Worthless and

I have buried past
And have come fast
To reach your hand
And really remain as friend

I know
The memory is not pleasant to show
Yet I think it is improper
Even to whisper with words

I have followed
And allowed
The imperfectness of human being
As an excuse to bring rapprochement

I know about sweet relation
That comes from unknown excitation
It is possible only from closed quarter
To burst into laughter

It is worthless and aimless
To follow with mad chase
The real beauty lies in not having acquired
But enjoyment arising from being well read
