Wounded World Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Wounded World

Ungrateful leechers.
On garbage feed.
And accumulating in their minds,
Diseasing self righteous hypocrisies.
The people,
Bring their own troubles...
To a wounded world.

On the left and over to the right,
Subdivided in demonic needs.
Shooting up on narcotics.
And overdosing everywhere to see.
The people,
Bring their own troubles...
To a wounded world.

Nobody pays attention.
To what themselves they do.
But have great expectations,
That their lives will be improved.
Yet lethal,
Are the very people...
Wounding their only world.

Ungrateful leechers.
On garbage feed.
Expecting to recover.
From a doing of their own misdeeds.
But can't see,
Themselves to be the people...
Wounding to destroy the world.

Ungrateful leechers.
Wounding to destroy the world.
Self righteous hypocrites.
Wounding to destroy the world.
Petty people who lie and backbite.
Wounding to destroy the world.
Corrupted greedy leaders.
Wounding to destroy the world.
Ignorance manifest to defend it.
Wounding to destroy the world.
Disrespect to expect it given.
Wounding to destroy the world.
Racism inflicted with intent.
Wounding to destroy the world.
And all of this to have it meant.
Wounding to destroy the world.
And all of this to have it meant.
Wounding to destroy the world.
Wounding to destroy the world.
