A boy tried to climb over a wall
The wall was not very tall
But perhaps the most slippery of all
The boy tried and tried and tried
But failing to get over it was his plight
A tear came and yes he cried
A small kitten walked by
Climbing the wall in one try
But also, it fell and started to cry
Meow, never i can get over that
Meow and soon came mother the cat
She saw her small baby cat a bit sad
Climb on my shoulders she said
And little kitten just did that
Over the wall went baby and mother cat
The boy got a brilliant idea that moment
It was his own home where he went
He got over the wall with his mother’s help
This is the first time i'm reading one of your poems. it is so original and so meaningful. Yes the young kids could learn a lot from this poem. I liked it
You stirred up some smile in me. I enjoyed the read. God bless you
