Yesterday/Today

Yesterday—
When you were
By my side,
The sun shone
Very bright;
The birds chirped away
Happily;
As we talked to each other
Chirpily.
But today—
When we are
Miles apart,
The sky is with dark clouds
Overcast;
It pours tears
From the sky;
Nature cries
I don’t know why.
