You - Poem by Amanda Lukas
When all the stress is over
and all the clouds have parted,
there is only you,
a sparkling silhoutte
in the morning sun's beams.
The twinkle in a child's eye
that brings a mother to tears,
The bounce in the step of a teenaged girl
who's just experienced her first kiss.
It is you who calms the nerves
and brings upon new days,
