You - Poem by Emma Kemp

The taste of your lips
burned on my imagination.
The dream is truth.
Stop reading the warning.

And the warmth of your hands
your body, your voice.
The light in your eyes,
your smile, your laugh.

The sweetest thing I’ve ever met.
Sweeter than candy
cuter than a cat.
