You - Poem by Manny Lopez
You can't possibly stay mad forever at something as insignificant as a fight.
I try to stay happy with you with all my my might.
I keep coming back to the same starting point.
I see you and my blood turns cold.
My heart wishes to hate you.
But my brain wishes to love you.
My minds stuck in the middle.
I'm confused; your loves a riddle.
All I know is that
I wish I could hate you.
