I remember when you came here to stay,
when you got off of the plane and started
to walking my way,
in my head I was trying to think of sweet things to say,
you looked at me, I then in return looked at you,
that is when I believed it to be true,
it really was gonna be me and you.

You were being all kinds of shy,
all I wanted to do was just cry,
because I finally found someone who honestly loves me,
now my heart will be able to enjoy being free,
I can really truly be me, for once in my life,
to honestly, really honestly, be happy.

Now my life is complete,
in my life I need no one else,
the best part is I'm no longer going to be all alone by myself.
