You Cast A Spell On Me Poem by Jolanta Gradowicz

You Cast A Spell On Me

You cast a spell on me, and now
I’m standing here in disbelief,
Wondering why it happened and how…
I protest, but my defense comes to grief.

I’m pondering on your magic power –
This destructive influence on me.
You embarrasses me, my eyes burn like fire,
The flames are everything I can feel.

The magic force of you still works on me.
You seem to be amused at my torment.
I can’t free myself, but your face is stony –
You love this confusion and excitement…
