You Have My Attention
When you walk by and I can't help but smile
and I find myself awaiting your calls,
when you look into my eyes with that
look that says more than a thousand words
ever could,
when I can't stop my cheeks from turning red
simply because you grab my hand,
and I feel more like a school-girl
than an overstressed, overworked, and underpayed
young professional
just by being in your prescence,
then I suppose I'll have to admit,
as stubborn as I am,
you have my attention.
