You Make Me Glow Poem by sania harris

You Make Me Glow

Rating: 5.0

Today, you made me smile
Though it lasted only a while
You mightn’t have known, but you did
Through the shadowed veil, you hid

Through my misery, my hate
Your presence changed my fate
Your gaze craft my lip’s curve
Passing a pleasure of verve

You teach the flora,
What beauty is…
You show the terrain,
What love is…

You slit thru the emptiness
Breaking the silence of my cry
Creeping into the melancholy of the night
Slashing the veil in my soul

Your wavy hair to dart hands thru
In a flash of hush, I wish to be you
You craft my life, with every beat
Without you, I would sure be incomplete
