We were young and in love.
More than just a summer romance.
I knew I wanted you forever
when I got that first dance.

To understand how much we love each other,
we had to be apart.
This love awakened my soul,
and planted a fire in my heart.

We are still not over,
We will never be through.
In all of our familiar places,
I'll be seeing you

I know this won't be easy
there are times we will want to quit.
We drive each other crazy
but our love story is worth it.

If you're a bird I'm a bird
Together we will fly away.
I want all of you forever
It's me and you every day.
