You Probably Sleep By Now Poem by Manonton Dalan

You Probably Sleep By Now

water is hypnotizing me
i pick a pebble, throw
to erase picture of me
wrinkle-like ripples
block my image; blurry
settles; i have to go

feeling cobblestones
beneath my bare feet
i'm worried about sharp
edges of broken rocks
i'm learning to walk
without you looking
