You Promised You'D Draw Once The Dawn Smiled Poem by Kewayne Wadley

You Promised You'D Draw Once The Dawn Smiled

But still
My heart cant go another day without you
Whispers that climax at the screams felt
When my hand touches yours
As a child not knowing life
terrified
excited at the next moment that comes
Merely waiting to eclipse the peak that hides behind your eye
Roots that bind as the nourishment my soul beckons to become as one
Definite silence of the fears that contradict what brought Adam to Eve
Soft croons that go as restless
As the skies that paint your name
