I love the way you please me
The way you find time out of your busy day.
I love the way you appear mostly out the blue.
Whether it's for a couple of hours
or a couple of minutes.
I am always glad you came through
To make my day a bit brighter.
It may not always seem like it
but I love these moments spent with you.
Not because of what we do
But simply because it's you.
It doesn't have to be anything over the top.
You don't have to look your best for me.
It's always a surprise to see how you've took time
out of your day just for me.
Away from the harsh demand of work
The craziness of getting from point A to B.
To arrive at my door and we just be.
