You Spoke Poem by Dislocated Heart

You Spoke

You Spoke,
with the confusion in my mind,
I hesitated to reply.

You spoke,
and my heart weeps
along with my eyes.

each line,
repeated in my mind,
as I await my own response,
for I've lost myself within you.

moments, turned into hours,
hours, turned into midnight,
midnight, into the morning sunrise.

I sat,
wandering around.
burdened by it all,
with how it all happened.

You spoke,
and I choked.

You Spoke..
with those lips..
that hurt me so...
could I ever let go...

here, another day...
goodbye, has never been our fate.
so hello... to my forever..

Hello... Speak.
