Once you were a part of me
You were honey laced with
Sweetness of love in the comb
Of my adolescent heart. In the
Heat of carelessness you flowed
To roll on ground leaving stains
Across its walls. Once you were a
Part of me- a varied tune of a
Mystical song of love and passion.
You flowed in me as fragrance
Seeped though air of early spring.
Against the wall of my life you
Were the echo with a perpetual
Linger. You were the halo with
Gleams of a diamond repelling
Illusions of darkness between
You and me. Once you were mine.
This is a song of love with an unconsummated ending. The reader is touched by the strains of sadness that run through this composition from first line to the last. A poetic masterpiece, indeed. Once you were a part of me Mystical song of love and passion. You flowed in me as fragrance
