You Were Not There
You were not there
When I needed you the most
When the world was against me
In my struggles to survive I felt lost
You were not there
When I was suffering alone
All my friends and kins whom
I believed left my side and were gone
You were not there
You too talked against me
Our love turned to hate so soon
Not for once you did not come to see
So sad to be abandoned by the one you needed most. Wonderfully written!

Life often won't move the way we expect of it. Nice oxymoron
