You Who Would Speak.... Poem by Eric Cockrell

You Who Would Speak....

you who would speak...
take off your clothes,
for your bodies are a testimony
to the stars themselves.
one does not adorn the moon,
nor hide it behind veils.
our imperfections themselves,
are the map of desire.
one cannot be holy,
who dares not touch the flame!
