Grade 5 was the first time I too attempted my first poem. And was ridiculed by my classmates, so I did not show those I composed during the entire ensuing year to anyone. Recognition? Even now I am not worthy of.
They were probably jealous. And look where you are now! One of the highest recognized poets on this site!
