Your Anger Is Unwarranted Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Your Anger Is Unwarranted

I understand why it is your wish,
To have your fantasies returned.
And I understand your difficulty,
In facing the onslaught of reality.

However,
I do not condone you making it known...
A shown contempt for me.
Since I am not the one who introduced,
Animated mice, pigs, ducks...
And other English speaking creatures,
Into your life...
That sang and danced with added spice.

Your anger is unwarranted,
And misdirected.
Although I know what you have been told,
About me!
