The law only matters
If it is enforced
If it is done so equally
Unconditionally
Adhering constitutionally
With precedent and legality
Executive, Legislative, Judicial
Checks and balances
Separate powers and duties
A Democracy
Of the People
330 million people
Ethically and constitutionally EQUAL
Gay, black, Atheist, lower class females
Straight, white, Christian, rich men
Equal protection
Thorough, absolute, unconditional... NOT
Do you see thedisparity
The disproportional sway
It's not just that imbeciles rule
It's how they fool the fools
Alternate facts
You can't both pay your bills and eat
Get three jobs
Lazy constituents
The stock market is doing well
Do you own any
China doesn't pay tariffs
You do
Socialism isn't your tax dollars coming back to you when times are hard
Instead of bailing out banks and subsidizing big oil
Trickle down is just being pissed on
Being told it's raining
Disapproval poll numbers astronomical
But straight party voting reelects
Rinse and repeat
A hard hitting poem written in a sublime way on law and law enforcement. Ideally law should be like what you said, fair just and not discriminatory. Kudos. Pls Pleez do read and comment my newest poem too, titled, " pink mania inking'
Law enforcement has a great role on ruling people. Law should is rightly framed. Every vote is important in selecting government. This poem is amazingly penned.10
Brave utterances set aside for sober reflection. A poignant bit of verse. Thanks for sharing and do remain enriched.

'The law only matters If it is enforced' - absolutely so. Laws passed by any Parliament are mostly meant to be good. It's enforcement without discrimination is what matters in delivering the good to the people. I agree with @Chinedu Dike and commend you for these 'bold utterances'.
