Zeer Gelukkige Verjaardag, Dr. Pintu Mahakul(1)
Pintu, ik weet dat je nu de titel Dr. draagt
In deze vriendschappelijke verhouding, is dat wat vaag
Nooit vergeten jouw waardevolle verjaardag, gisteren de 19e April
Titel heb je op 10 Maart gekregen van je professoren en
Uit naam van je universiteit
Maatschappelijk gezien, ben je
Aanzienlijk geklommen,
Hoog op de maatschappelijke ladder, jouw
Aanzien moet ook hoog zijn, als liefdevolle
Kind van de hemelse Vader
Uit je geleefde leven weet ik, dat jouw
Leven is één verweven met God, de Almachtige

De voorletters vormen je hele naam Pintu Mahakul
Dit gedicht heb ik in mijn moedertaal geschreven en dat is in het Nederlands,
Ik hoop ten zeerste dat de vertaling in het Hindi de minste fouten bevat.
Nog Zeer Gelukkige Dagen toegewenst het hele jaar door!

As I have been told, he must have been waiting a long time before he got his Ph. D certificate in Business Administration.
The great Day was on the 10th March 2017.
Of course he was happiest and I was proud too,
since I know him for quite a long time.
That 10th March was a memorable day, his shy face but proud face appeared on FB and its profile. On that day he retrieved his PhD. WOW! Excellent.
Today I could just post the Birthday Tribute I have created for him, but two days later, because I wanted post this first in PoemHunter.Com in three languages and then on FaceBook.
BUT there were technical problems on PoemHunter.Com
This poem I submitted was published by PH.Com one day after his Birthday, but I oft said "Birthdays last one year long till the same day the next year"
With this I say once again that I have not forgotten your BirthDAY, Pintu. Due to PH technical problems, this Tribute is submitted by me on YOUR BirthDAY, but due to PH's technical problems, PH.Com could submit and publish this just one day later.
God´s Blessings in Abundance though. Amen.
