My Father

Down the steps I walked
my paw holding on to the railing
It was a very high altitude
and I was very scared

The fur of my back stood on end
as a gust of wind shook the stairway
my claws left marks on the railing
I didn't want to fall

From the tip of my ears
to the end of my tail
I felt a violent shake of the stairs

It was going to fall
I was going to fall

But then I felt something touch my nose
Something touched the top of my head
Finally I understood

It was starting to rain
what misfortune
no umbrella
my fur ...
