Loss

You went away
So suddenly
With a permanency
That sucks
You shared your light
It shone bright
Went without fight
Or “Good Luck”

The newspaper said
“Teenager dead”
They covered your head
You were gone
How simple it happens
One minute you’re laughing
Messing and chaffing
And singing along…………

Hard to accept
Just bereft
By the hole you left
Yeah – we miss
You just bowling in
With cheeky grin
Being Kieran
Singing with Alanis.
