Dream-Wrecked

White of her eyes,
Snowflakes in May,
Make believe,
Dream-wrecked.

Curve of her lips,
Bribes each smile,
Convoluted wonder,
Dream-wrecked.

When each dream starts to feel like a sin,
When thoughts begin to bleed.
When I have visions of someone who's miles away,
Do I pine or is it my greed?

When I heave a pull at the threads of time,
Clinging miserably to memories from the past.
When I try to knock our worlds together
Oh, How long will this one last?
