Trapped

Trapped inside. Inside.
My body, my soul.
Aching for release.
I know I am different.
Something wrong, so wrong.
Why?
The torment plagues me.
Like nothing I have ever known.
It's a tornado. Deep.
Buried deep inside.
Banging.
Banging.
Trying to be free.
But I won't let it.

I let it torment me.
Rip me from the inside, out.
Better the pain. Pain.
Than the humiliation.
Pain. Not humiliation. Pain.
No shame. Pain.

Would they accept me?
Doubtful.
Would they understand?
No. They won't.
