Forgive me mother, for I have sinned,
those deeds shamed you and drowned me in guilt.
Forgive me also for those selfish acts,
which ached your temples and burdened your heart.
You birthed me to profess the joy of womanhood,
to share with your seed your myriad moods
but i couldn't elude the competition of inheritance
and had to bear your spouse's traits of narcissism.
A tumultuous of sensations you caged,
in the deep recesses of you mind unexpressed;
a parallel world of unexplored ideas with imperious might
all piled up for the spark to ...
