Poor was I by destiny's wrath,
Sadness and misery were all I hath.
Sat I all day long shedding tears,
Perennial problems being fears.
Then came one day a saint my way,
Said he 'My child! Why dismay? '
What have I done?
For I should be so grief stricken?
The sage silently at me he smiled,
To go to the Alchemist he advised.
That he would turn lead to gold,
Oh! My My! Lo and behold!
With desires, wishes and dreams unfulfilled,
With a hope to meet him, I started.
