My father
He sings without trying
His words are like wings
Speaking is flying

His sounds swirl and spin
They dance all around
And speak to my soul
Connections abound

I feel every note
I breathe the sounds deeply
And take in the moments
Surrounding me sweetly

As a young girl
I had this heart
But not these words

Now I have the words
But I have no heart.
