Guilty As Charged

I’ve always wanted freedom,
To have that bit of space.
I wanted to feel the fresh outdoors,
With the wind upon my face.

Inside here is cold and damp,
I can never seem to sleep.
All I wanted was a peaceful life,
But I dug my hole too deep.

I was charged with a murder case,
They said I had the power.
But all I wanted was a little love,
Weren’t my fault she fell off the tower.

They found me in the allotment,
I didn’t know where to go.
I sat there for hours,
My mind thinking slow.

They took me in and questioned me, ...
