Writer's Block
I wanted to paint a word picture,
something like this:
'And the river flowed past me,
carrying with it the last muted shades
of the sunset on it's back...'
Or,
'The trees above me stood forty feet tall,
blocking the rays of the summer day's sun
and the sky of indigo blue...'
but all my word pictures
have faded away
because my mind has been filled
with images of you
instead of sunsets and sun
and indigo blue.
